For the resto shop in Yas Bay, we manufactured and delivered all the conceptual joinery items from our factory in Bahrain. Our delivery includes a luxury hanging library bar with four shelf levels to display their extensive collection of cocktails and coffee table books and a ten-seater reservations-only chef’s table for a more casual and family-friendly environment. The restaurant also features a bakery and a waterfront terrace for Mediterranean-inspired dining on the promenade.

Our experienced F&B fit-out team based in UAE was able to articulate the design details visioned by the client for their restaurant, bakery, and retail space. We finished the complete restaurant fit-out, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing works (MEP). The Lighthouse Restaurant gets its visual identity from Dubai-based T.Zed Architects, with regional artworks and sculptures.

Although the project underwent a few design changes towards the finishing stage, our team worked within tight time frames and assisted with the restaurant opening at a peak period to our client’s complete satisfaction.

For the second time, the client had nominated shell+core, who evolved the interior design further from the first LOCAL branch at Al Zeina Complex, adding some beach vibes and additional design elements. And it was on Havelock One and our subcontractors to turn the creative thought process into a tangible reality. Our turnkey fit-out scope included some special features and installations as well as design and build for all MEP and HVAC works. Have a look at the distinctive corrugated glass façade of the serving counter and the timber louver bulkhead detail right above it. Or, isn’t that “greenhouse”, a glazed steel frame enclosure, a genius idea to create a separate space for the grooming area, while integrating the barbershop into the overall loft-style concept of LOCAL?

We are very curious to see how the brand will evolve further, given that there might be an expansion in the books. And having received a lot of praise for our craftsmanship and dedication, we are hoping to be part of that story…
