Almoosa Specialist Hospital

Almoosa Health Group, which provides exceptional healthcare facilities in Al Ahsa, entrusted Havelock One with the manufacturing and installation of various packages for their specialist hospital.

Initially, we were nominated to undertake the millwork and installation packages of Almoosa Specialist Hospital’s new-themed pharmacy area, lobby atrium, reception, and doors across 21 floors. This included the creation of two impressive wooden dome structures 3 x 4.5 meters with a depth of 3.4 meters, a first-of-its-kind project for our Askar factory. Additionally, our scope encompassed the construction of atrium wall structures, elevator lobby panelling, and an extended reception counter. A total of 886 unique doors were manufactured and installed, utilising materials such as oak wood, antibacterial oak laminate, synthetic oak veneer, and a combination of GI metal door frames with NFR, FD60, FD90, and radiation doors.

Our KSA fit-out team played a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of door hardware with British standards for Fire Resistant doors, which required working with our client to suggest suitable compliant hardware. This was essential to obtain approvals from the Saudi Civil Defence. Our factory teams dedicated significant time and craftsmanship to these unique structures, including the shopfront wooden feature, which is elliptical in shape and showcases our commitment to quality and innovation.
